Spectator Information
Safety First | You will need to be extremely aware of safety both for yourselves and our competitors. If you are camping with young children, please watch them at all times and stand well back from the track during racing. Don’t wander on the track, it may look clear but you can’t be sure of what is coming at you at race speeds. Standing on the outside of corners can be dangerous, so avoid this at all times – vehicles will be travelling at very high speeds. Our competitors are focused on their race and are not looking for you or your kids! It is their track from 7am – 9pm, give them the respect they deserve!
Access and Entry to the Property | Access to the event campgrounds and property is STRICTLY 12 pm Thursday 6 April. The property is located on the Cathu O'Connell River Road, Yalboroo. You will see the event signage when you approach the property. Note this road is dirt. Spectators will be entering the campgrounds via a NEW entry point, which will be signed clearly.
Camping and Entry Fees | If you are attending the event for the day or camping at the private property you will be charged a camping/entry fee. These fees go a long way to continuing to hold a successful event, please respect that and do not try to avoid paying fees. It costs thousands of dollars to hold this event.
Campfires | Campfires are strictly not allowed.
Consideration for others | Nobody wants to stop you from having a fun filled weekend but be aware of your surroundings. There is likely to be others camping nearby that may not enjoy your particular brand of Death Metal music, use of foul language or anti-social behaviour. Please be considerate to other campers and keep noise to a minimum. You may be asked to leave in the event you are not considerate of others. The event organisers and property owners have the right to do this. Police will be present across the weekend.
Dogs and other pets | In the interest of safety, dogs (and all other pets) are not permitted at the event or in the campgrounds.
Medical Assistance | If, during your time camping as a spectator you require any medical assistance, please contact Emergency Services on OOO for all emergencies. For non-emergencies, please seek the assistance from an official in locating a trained first aid officer.
Landowners | The land you are camping on during the event is privately owned property. We are extremely grateful to the owners, and need to respect the fact that they have allowed us to use their property. Remember to take your rubbish home with you or put in the bins provided. Keeping our event successful means ensuring we respect the land and behave appropriately.
Drinking Responsibly & Alcohol Restrictions | This is a motor sport event, not a night club. Alcohol and high speed racing are not a good combination. There are 30+ of competitors risking everything to entertain you, so you really don't need to get plastered! Intoxicated persons causing nuisance will be asked to leave.
